Steven L. Waltemire

Red Lion — Steven L. Waltemire, 52, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sherry L. (Stonesifer) Waltemire with whom he celebrated 20 years of marriage on May 2nd. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7 PM, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born January 8, 1960 in Stewartstown, he was a son of the late William and Ruth (Huson) Waltemire. He was employed with Gichner Systems Group in Dallastown as a laborer for several years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed crabbing, boating, fishing, deer hunting and 4 wheeling. In addition to his wife, Steven is also survived by two sons, Travis Gentzler and wife, Kim of Manchester and Jason Blymire of York; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Austin Gentzler; three brothers, Keith Waltemire and wife, Tina of Stewartstown, Adam Waltemire of Airville and Rick Billet and wife, Dottie of California; two sisters, Nancy Waltemire of Stewartstown and Shirley Shaull and husband, Tim of Glen Rock and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
