Steven C. Heindel

COUDERSPORT, PA – Steven C. Heindel, 61, formerly of York; passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie. He was the husband of the late Constance R. “Connie” (Spangler) Heindel. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A visitation will be held from 5-6:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Born April 11, 1957 in York, a son of Louise P. (Bentz) Heindel of York and the late Wayne S. Heindel, he was a graduate of Central York High School. Steve was a member of York Co. Harley Davidson Owners Assoc., NDHP Motorcycle Fraternity, Starview Sportsman’s Assoc., Prince Club and South End Democratic Club. Mr. Heindel loved hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. In addition to his mother, Mr. Heindel is survived by a son, Corey L. Heindel of Coudersport; a granddaughter, Charlotte R. Worley; a brother, Michael W. Heindel of York; his former wife, Rhonda J. Nolan of York; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
