Steven S. Beaverson

YORK- Steven S. Beaverson, 68, died on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at his son’s residence.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Pleasureville Christian Church, 2606 N. Sherman St., York, with Pastor Dave Kominsky officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on December 10, 1955 in York, he was a son of Barbara (Reigart) Beaverson of York and the late Dale Beaverson. Steven was a forklift operator at Graham Packaging for 44 years until his retirement in 2019.

Steven loved sports and played softball into his 50’s. He was an avid Washington Commanders, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Bruins, Penn State and Dale Earnhart fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outside and doing yard work at his home and at the church. He loved helping others and loved his pets.

Mr. Beaverson is survived by his son, Eric Beaverson and his wife, Jennifer of York; daughter, Renae Eaton and her husband, Bobby of Palm Coast, FL; two grandchildren, Dylan Beaverson and Klohee Beaverson; two brothers, Michael Beaverson of York and Brian Beaverson and his wife, Cherylann of York; sister, JoAnn Beaverson of Dallastown; nephew, Jacob Beaverson; and two nieces, Jamie Beaverson and Emily Beaverson.
