Steven B. Mccune

RED LION - Steven B. McCune, 51, lost his battle with lung cancer on Friday, May 18, 2012 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Amy M. (Gauthier) McCune. The couple wed on October 27, 1984. A celebration of life tribute service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, with Betty Frey, Certified Celebrant officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, both at the funeral home. Born on September 19, 1960 in Columbus, OH, Steven was a son of the late Walter and Theresa (Stischok) McCune. He worked as a Process Engineer for Proctor & Gamble for over 25 years. Mr. McCune served our country for eight years in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fixing and repairing computers. His unique sense of humor touched everyone and will be missed. Along with his wife, Amy, Mr. McCune is survived by two daughters, Melissa McCune and her companion, Timothy Sprenkle and Nicole McCune; four brothers and sisters, James McCune and his wife, Bev, Dianna Wycuff and her husband, Randy, Tamera McCune, and Richard McCune and his wife, Teresa; grandmother, Arizona Stischok; mother and father in law, Eleanor and Donald Gauthier; and several nieces, nephews and in laws.
