Brogue—Sterling W. Saylor, 85, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services-Kingston Court. He was the husband of the late Fern O. (Fregm) Saylor. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born July 14, 1926 in Windsor Township, he was a son of the late William E. and Myrtle V. (Wrent) Saylor. He was employed with Donsco Incorporated in Wrightsville as a crane operator for 20 years until his retirement. He was a proud United States Army Veteran of World War II and a member of a local V.F.W. and American Legion. Mr. Saylor is survived by one daughter, Dorothy A. Steely of Wrightsville; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence and Austin Saylor and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Snell; infant twin sons, Vincent and Victor and an infant daughter, Christine; infant great-great grandson, Shelby. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave, York, Pa 17403.
