Stephen A. Schaffer

Stephen A. Schaffer, 69, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at ManorCare Health Services, North. He was the loving husband of Susan L. (Bucher) Schaffer. The couple would have shared their 44th wedding anniversary on December 30, 2010. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Schaffer was born November 28, 1940 in Harrisburg, a son of the late Andrew and Shirley (Raynor) Schaffer. He was a 1959 graduate of New Cumberland High School and continued his business education at HACC. Mr. Schaffer was a former employee of J P Lilley Audio Visual, Harrisburg for over 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, outside activities, photography and working with computers. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. In addition to his wife, Susan, Mr. Schaffer is survived by a daughter, Christina L. Klimes and husband, Brian of York; two grandsons, Benjamin L. and Riley S. Klimes; a brother, Gary D. Schaffer and wife, Lee of Raleigh, NC; and a nephew, Mark Schaffer.
