Stella E. Quattrociocchi-Brown

POTTSVILLE - Stella E. Quattrociocchi-Brown, 84, of Pottsville, died Tuesday evening at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville. Born in Easton, on August 23, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Drenth) Quattrociocchi. She was a 1941 graduate of Pottsville High School. On May 27, 1950, she married the late Daniel A. Brown, who died July 15, 1989. Until retiring in 1985, she was employed by Cressona Knit. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Pottsville. Stella enjoyed dancing and crocheting. In addition to her parents and her husband, Stella was preceded in death by: a son, Daniel T., who died Jan 10, 1992; three sisters, Patricia Fessler, Lucy Hutchings, and Betty Bonan; and three brothers, Pete, Frank and Louie Quattrociocchi. Surviving Stella are: three daughters, Deborah and her husband David Filiac, St. Clair, Donna and her husband William Rhoads, St. Clair and Carol and her husband Carl Rolshausen, Schuylkill Haven; seven grandchildren, Matt, Jen and Kyle Filiac, William and Meghan Rhoads, and Nick and Tyler Rolshausen; two great grandsons, Caleb Strausser and Jacob Filiac; a brother, John Quattrociocchi, Pottsville; four sisters, Esther Thomas, Minersville, Alice Borrell, Pottsville, Dorothy Pauley, Pottsville and Catherine Schaeffer, Pine Grove; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the church of St. Patrick, Pottsville, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Family and friends may call at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville on Friday morning from 8 until 9:45 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
