Stanley Paul Grzymala, Sr.

RED LION- Stanley Paul Grzymala, Sr., 79, passed away unexpectedly at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy P. (Hoffman) Grzymala. The couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on August 22, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street in Dallastown. Viewings will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Full military honors will be by Dallastown American Legion at the conclusion of Mass. Mr. Grzymala was born in Baltimore on May 7, 1938, the son of the late John and Bertha (Andrasik) Grzymala. He worked for National Bohemian Brewery in Baltimore and retired from the US Postal Service. Mr. Grzymala was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dallastown and a former parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom. He was a past president of Shrewsbury Lions Club and a member of the Comet Club in Baltimore. He was a member of New Freedom and Red Lion Senior Centers. He was an outstanding husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the US Army. Mr. Grzymala leaves two daughters, Kimberly Glace and her husband Allen of Cross Roads and Cheryl Smith and her husband, Eric of Dallastown; a son, Stanley “Paul” Grzymala, Jr. and his wife Annette of Glen Rock; five grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, Taylor, Mackenzie, and Brendan; three sisters, Antoinette Gonzalez, Joanna Sercus, and Bertha Duket; and a brother, Thaddeus “Butch” Grzymala, Sr. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John “Luke” Grzymala and Felix Grzymala.
