Stanley P. Tagliaboski, Sr.

COGAN STATION - Stanley P. Tagliaboski Sr., 71, died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at The Gatehouse, Williamsport. He was born on May 06, 1944 and was the son of the late James and Anna (Liberti) Hamilton. On April 22, 2000 Stanley married the former Carol A. (Barlet), who survives, and they celebrated 15 years of marriage together this year. Stanley worked for Frito Lay for 30 years as a packing machine operator and retired in 2003. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Williamsport, the VFW of Duboistown, the Red Run Gun Club of Ralston and the Young Men’s Republican Club of Williamsport. Stanley enjoyed hunting, playing cards, spending time with his family and friends at the River Lot “Lot 43” of Nesbit and watching old western movies. In addition to his wife, Stanley is survived by two sons; Tracy (Nikki) Tagliaboski and Derick (Missy Bair) Tagliaboski all of Cogan Station, his dog; Casper that was like a son to him, three daughters; Barbara (Scott) Caverly of Cogan Station, Stacy (John) McKinney of Williamsport and Sheli (Randy) Berger of Loyalsock, one daughter-in-law; Penny Edkins of Williamsport, 11 grandchildren: Matt, Kaitlin, Travis, Ashley, Breanna, Zachary, Lydia, Tyler, Tristen, Colin and Annalise, two great grandchildren; Elara and Emmalyn, three brothers; Scott (Tushanna) Hamilton, Rick Hamilton and Jeff (Donna) Hamilton all of Williamsport, three sisters-in-law; Sandy Jones, Cindy Barlet both of Cogan Station and Barbara Tagliaboski of Milesburg and two brothers-in-law; Carl Barlet of Linden and John (Faye) Barlet of Cogan Station. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife Elenor “Cookie” Bower, his second wife; Julie Dimassimo, one son; Stanley P. Tagliaboski, Jr., one brother; John “Tag” Tagliaboski and his father-in-law; Daniel Barlet. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 3200 Lycoming Creek Road, Williamsport, PA 17701 or to The Gatehouse/Cancer Center 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701. A public viewing will be held 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport followed by the funeral at 7:00p.m. with Pastor Lou Gatti officiating. Stanley's family would like to say a big thank you to all the nurses that took great care of him and them.
