MILTON - Stanley L. Hileman, 88, died on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Kramm Health Care Center, Milton. He was the husband of the late Myrtle M. (Morris) Hileman who had died on December 13, 2007. The couple had been married in 1964. Stanley was born on August 1, 1920 in Roustown, and was a son of the late Archiebal E. and Mable (Remley) Hileman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII. He had worked at Philco Ford and Masonite in Watsontown until 1961 when at that time, he had graduated from barber school and had worked as a barber up until 2007. He was a member of A.F.M.A., the Barber Association and the American Legion. Stanley is survived by two step sons and one step daughter-in-law; Howard P. Harner of Montoursville and Wayne E. and Deborah Harner of Houston, TX, one step daughter; Mareta M. Digan of Lewisburg, six step grandchildren, sixteen step great-grandchildren, and nine step great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five brothers; Herschel, Elwood, Howard, Olen and William and one sister; Olive Vought. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton. Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. The Reverend Barbara Jeanne Collins will officiate the services. There will be a public viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
