Stanley K. "Stan" Manning

MILTON - Stanley K. “Stan” Manning, 61, died Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. He was born on August 19, 1955 in Lewisburg and was the son of the late George D. and Lola A. (Koch) Manning, Jr. On August 2, 1980 Stan married the former Shelley A. (Fisher) who survives, and they celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary last year. Stan was a graduate of the Milton Area High School Class of 1973. He worked for Pennsylvania House of Lewisburg as a supervisor and retired after 20 plus years in 2005. He was a member of the Milton Moose Club, the Milton Sons of American Legion and the Milton VFW. Stan enjoyed hunting, fishing and baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Moose Club. In addition to his wife, Stan is survived by one daughter and her fiancé; Alyssa M. Manning of Milton and Matt Hause of White Deer, three brothers and two sisters-in-law; George D. Manning, Jr. of Milton, Boyd A and Babette Manning of Rebersburg and Brad L. and Michelle Manning of Milton, two sisters and brothers-in-law; Debra and Boyd Waltman of Arizona and DeErma and Homer McMillan of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Services for Stan are being held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
