Stanley A. Baker, Jr.

WILLIAMSPORT - Stanley A. Baker, Jr., 73, passed away, Monday, February 26, 2018 at The Gatehouse. He was born July 2, 1944 in Wellsboro a son of the late Stanley A. Baker, Sr. and Mary (Mahoski). He was married on February 4, 1967 to the former Susan R. Reese. They celebrated 51 years of marriage together. Stanley worked as a supervisor for LONZA and was a transport driver for numerous transportation companies. He was a 1966 graduate of Lycoming College. Stanley enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Surviving are his loving wife; one son Andrew (Anne) Baker of Jersey Shore and a grandson Aaron. He is survived by a sister Sonia Daly of Oneonta, NY, one nephew and three nieces. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1101 Washington Blvd., Williamsport with the Rev. David Byerly officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one-hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church Community Outreach Program or The Gatehouse, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701. Interment will be private.
