Sondria L. (Bollinger) Hostetter

WINDSOR- Sondria Louise (Bollinger) Hostetter, 80, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of the late Ralph B. Hostetter, Sr., and the companion of Arthur Haugh of Windsor. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born June 2, 1937 in York, Sondria was the daughter of the late Martin A. and Louise Jane (Todd) Knisley. She was a 1955 graduate of York Catholic High School. She worked as department manager in home décor at Lowe’s for many years. Mrs. Hostetter was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dallastown. Mrs. Hostetter is survived by six children, Kenneth Hostetter and his wife Renee of Maine, Louise Maurer and her husband Ernest, Jr. of New Bloomfield, Sharon Trimmer and her late husband, Michael, of Red Lion, Dianne Minges and her husband George of New Bloomfield, Ralph Hostetter and his wife Patricia of Dover, and Becky Jo Stine and her husband Michael of Windsor; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Barry March and his wife Betty of York, and a sister, Ruthann Hickenbottom of South Carolina. In addition to her husband and parents, Sondria was preceded in death by two sisters, Dottie Naylor and Jeaniene Laurer. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
