Sidney W. Coup, Sr.

Selinsgrove - Sidney W. Coup, Sr., 58 a former resident of Lewisburg and Milton passed away, Wednesday morning, April 30, 2008 at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove where he resided since July. He was born February 26, 1950 in Lewisburg the son of the late Fred & Elizabeth (Specht) Coup. Sidney was a member of the Salvation Army. He was a graduate of Milton High School class of 1968. He enjoyed country music and was an avid hunter. Sidney was a member of the Milton Fire Department. Surviving are one son Sidney W. Coup, Jr. of Somerset, PA and one granddaughter Dakota of Danville. He is survived by a brother Terry L. and his wife (Yvonne) Coup of Milton and two sisters Elizabeth McCormick and her companion Claude Kistner of Sunbury, Patricia A. and her husband Jerry Buck of Tool, TX He is also survived by an uncle Merrill Coup and an aunt Ann Geiswite both of Milton. Sidney was preceded in death by a son Robert E. Coup in 1993 and a brother Fred H. Coup in 1995. A graveside service will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Harmony Cemetery, Milton with Rev. Douglas J. Seagle officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
