Shirley M. Richlmayr

SOUTH RENOVO - Shirley M. (Brotherton) Richlmayr, 89, a former resident of St. Clair Ave., Renovo passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo. She was born October 30, 1925 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of Harry and Madge (Wilson) Brotherton. Shirley was married to Maynard Kauhl who died in 1984 and her second husband George Richlmayr who died in 2009. She worked as a secretary for Trico in Buffalo, NY and retired after several years. Surviving are three sons; Russell Kauhl, Harry Kauhl and Edward Kauhl all of Renovo also three daughters; Kristine Groff of Niagara Falls, NY, Kathryn Santoro of Blasdell, NY and Madge Nelson of Lancaster, NY. 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. One sister Madge Sherman of Kenmore, NY. She was preceded in death by a son Maynard Kauhl in 2000 also a sister Sylvia Krueger and a brother Harry Brotherton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo with the Rev. Mahlon Nevel officiating. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior tot he service. Interment will be private at St. John’s Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine St., S. Renovo, PA 17764.
