Shirley M. Gentzyel

LEWISBURG - Shirley M. Gentzyel, 79, formerly of Renovo, died Monday, April 04, 2016 at Riverwoods, Lewisburg. She was born on May 26, 1936 in Renovo and was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Pearl (Drake) Gentzyel. Shirley was a member of the 7th Street United Methodist Church, Renovo and the Sons of Italy Renovo Chapter. She enjoyed telling stories, playing bingo, shopping and participating in the different activities that were available at Riverwoods. Shirley is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Donald E. and Charmaine Gentzyel of North Bend, two nephews; Robert (Heather) Smith and Kevin Smith both of Montandon and one great niece; Shiann Reed of New Bethlehem. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her companion of many years; Charles Rudoulf and one sister; Linda L. Smith. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Albright Care Services, Benevolent Care Fund, 90 Maplewood Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Private services for Shirley will be held at the convenience to the family. Burial will take place in North Bend Cemetery, North Bend. Arrangements are being handled by Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo.
