Shirley L. Gordon

DALLASTOWN- Shirley L. Gordon, 60, passed away Saturday February 14, 2009 at York Hospital. She was a resident with Bell Socialization in Dallastown. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Rev. Kent Vandervort officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00PM Wednesday at the funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Born on July 22, 1948 in York a daughter to the late Howard M. and Elise (Ely) Gordon, she enjoyed cross stitching, coloring, and drawing. She was named Consumer of the Year from Bell Socialization. Miss Gordon is survived by four brothers, Dale R. Gordon of Weigelstown, Harold E. Gordon of York New Salem, Clair D. Gordon of Oklahoma, and Larry J. Gordon, Sr. of York Anna; and four sisters, Dorothy I. Crumling of Dallastown, Clella M. Anthony of Ohio, Stella R. Lloyd of Winterstown, and Gloria A. Dettinger of Hanover. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor M. Hake and Mary L. Gettys. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bell Socialization, Inc., 160 S. George Street, York, PA 17401.
