Shirley J. (Smuck) Sinclair

YORK- Shirley J. (Smuck) Sinclair, 89, died on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Amorosa Wellness. She was the wife of the late Enos E. Sinclair to whom she was married 63 years until his passing.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with her pastor the Reverend David D. Tietje officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born on October 21, 1934 in York, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Edna (Keener) Smuck. Shirley worked as a cashier and in the deli at A&P Store in Red Lion.

Mrs. Sinclair was a member of St. John’s UCC in Red Lion. She enjoyed playing in her card club with her good friends. She also loved crafts, especially needlepoint, puzzles and her daily excursions with her good friend Jerry. Shirley was a loving Mom and Grandmother, and always took pleasure in doing things for her family.

Mrs. Sinclair is survived by two sons, Brian Sinclair and his partner, Noemi of Wrightsville and Darren Sinclair and his wife, Angela of York; daughter, Stacy Portko and her husband, Steve of York Springs; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and brother, Darryl Smuck and his wife, Janet of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Smuck.
