Shirley J. (Smith) Chronister

Shirley J. (Smith) Chronister, 78, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Ephrata Manor. She was the wife of William J. “Bill” Chronister to whom she was married for 60 years until his passing on December 29, 2020. Born on August 1, 1942 in Portsmouth, VA, she was the daughter of the late Dale K. and Ruth E. (Hake) Smith. Shirley was a homemaker. She loved her family and taking care of everyone. Mrs. Chronister was a member of Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Church. Shirley enjoyed handcrafts including crocheting. Shirley leaves two daughters, Kathy A. Kramme and her husband, Thomas of Quakertown and Crystal B. Allen and her husband, Mark of Denver, PA; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way.
