Shirley Ann Koch

YORK- Shirley Ann (Logue) Koch, 86, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at York Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Donald James Koch and the late Joseph Conners.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on September 26, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with an interment service at 1:30 p.m. the same day. Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder will be officiating at the service.

Mrs. Koch was born in Norristown on February 5, 1936, the daughter of the late Leo Charles and Rose (Rossi) Logue. She was the owner and operator of Galen Hall Country Club in Wernersville, and Lazy U Motor Inn in Arizona. She also managed her son’s businesses including the Carousel Hotel and Hialeah Hotel in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

Shirley was a graduate of Bridgeport High School where she was a Majorette. She loved cooking and baking and almost never missed her favorite television show, The Young and the Restless.

Shirley leaves a son, Joseph Francis Conners and his wife Christine of York; a daughter, Linda Ann Mooney and her husband Larry of Geigertown; eight grandchildren, David Menkins, Christina Fort (Lee), Angelica Marianos (Emmett), Justin Mooney, Starr Conners, Skye Conners, Heavenlee Conners, and Oceanonia Conners; four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Diane Marie Messantonio of Pottstown, Kathleen Sue Spangenberg of Pottstown, and Debra Lee Moore of Phoenixville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Benjamin Logue.
