Shirley A. (Shaffer) Tripp

NORTH BEND - Shirley A. (Shaffer) Tripp, 73, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born November 21, 1939 in Williamsport the daughter of the late Frank R. & Dorothy L. (Simpson) Shaffer. Shirley was married on June 6, 1958 to Albert R. Tripp who died in 1998. She worked as a cook at Tripp’s Grill in North Bend until June. Shirley enjoyed shopping. Surviving are three sons Mark A. Tripp of E. Renovo, Michael (Susan) Tripp of North Bend and Chris A. (Donna) Tripp of Renovo also two daughters Dawn L. (Robert) Cole of S. Renovo and Tina M. (Larry) Copello of Kersey, PA. 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, One sister Patricia L. Shaffer of N. Bend. A Celebration of Her Life will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Chapman Twp. Fire Hall, 78 Park Ave., North Bend. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Divine Providence Hospital Cancer Treatment Center, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the Chapman Twp., Fire Company, North Bend, PA 17760.
