Shirley A. (Renard) Shoffner

MECHANICSBURG - Shirley A. (Renard) Shoffner, 80, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital. She was the wife of the late Norman E. Shoffner, who passed away on September 21, 2001. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Lewisberry United Methodist Church, 309 Market St., Lewisberry with the Reverend Jane Harrison officiating. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305. W. Front St., Lewisberry, is in charge of arrangements. Born on January 9, 1932 in Grantham, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Hobaugh) Renard. Shirley worked as a Retail Clerk for Konhaus Farms. Mrs. Shoffner is survived by five sons, Herbert Shoffner and his wife, Lesetta of Lewisberry, Jeffrey Shoffner and his wife Vicki of Etters, Gregory Shoffner of Lewisberry, Don Paul Shoffner of Mechanicsburg and Dennis Shoffner of Brandon, WI; two daughters, Minda Funk and her husband, Sherman of Etters and Darla Hartman of Hershey; 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Fishel of Mechanicsburg; and three step sisters, June Shutt of Carlisle, Jane Bishop of Mechanicsburg and June Junkins of Mechanicsburg. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Richard Renard, Herbert Renard, Joseph Renard, Harold Renard and Stanley Renard.
