Shirley A. Osborne

WILLIAMSPORT - Shirley A. Osborne, 85, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital where she was a patient one day. Born November 14, 1934 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late Charles Gottschall, Sr. and Freda (Excell). Shirley worked at Lock Haven Hospital as a nurse aide for 28 years. She enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her family. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed flowers and the outdoors. Shirley was a Member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a 1954 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School. Surviving are two sons, Steven Osborne of McElhattan and William Osborne of Lock Haven and a daughter Teresa Osborne of Flemington. She is survived by a brother Robert Gottschall of Clearwater, FL. Shirley was preceded in death by a sister Doris Gottschall and a brother Charles. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Certified Celebrant Brigitte C. Morgan officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Clinton County Women’s Center, 34 W.
