Shigeko M. Hall

YORK – Shigeko (Morishita) Hall, 91, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at her home. She was the wife of James E. Hall to whom she was married for 60 years.

Shigeko was born on January 26, 1932 in Zushi, Japan; a daughter of the late Kanji and Kane Morishita. In the 1960’s Shigeko worked for the US Army in Japan. She attended North Hills Bible Church and enjoyed passing down her love of knitting and crocheting to her granddaughters.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons, Ronald E. and wife Victoria Hall of York and Ken and wife Deanna Hall of Bel Air, MD; three grandchildren, Kailyn, Lindsey, and Connor. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Tribute services will be private with burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
