Sheila Elaine Wagman

YORK - Sheila Elaine Wagman, 69, of North Codorus Twp., died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at home with her family at her side. She was the wife of Donald E. Wagman with whom she celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary on June 4th. Born January 14, 1941, in New Freedom, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Mildred E. (Bailey) Jones. Mrs. Wagman assembled fiber optic components at AMP's Green Valley location for many years until retiring in 1992. She had previously worked at Dentsply. She was a 1959 graduate of Susquehannock High School and was a member of the Coudersport American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to yard sales, watching television and caring for her family. In addition to her husband, she leaves four sons, Mark Wagman and his wife, Lisa of York, Brian Wagman and his wife, Michelle of York, Brad Wagman and his wife, Nancy of Seven Valleys, and Chris Wagman, also of SevenValleys; a daughter, Teri Perry and her husband, Scott of East Berlin; twelve grandchildren; and a brother, Jeffrey Jones and his wife, Jan of Orlando, FL. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Jones. Services will be private for the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
