Windsor—Shawn K. Brunner, 40, passed away, Monday, January 4, 2010 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Tara S. (Gohn) Brunner. Shawn and Tara would have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on January 5th. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Joe L. Fauth of Calvary Bible Church, officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born March 16, 1969 in York, he was a son of Stacy L. Brunner of Glendale, AZ, and the late Janet A. (Shoff) Brunner. He was employed as a forklift operator for the past 10 years with RR Donnelley and Sons. A 1987 graduate of Eastern York High School and a computer expert for family and friends, he was also a member of New Beginnings, as well as attended Calvary Bible Church. He was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his wife, Shawn is also survived by, one son, Brandon T. Brunner of Windsor, one daughter, Brittney T. Brunner of Windsor, one brother, Mitchell R. Brunner of York, one sister, Delanea G. Kohler of Yoe, biological father, Barry E. Lake Sr, of Windsor, three half brothers, Barry E. Lake Jr, of Lower Windsor, Jeremy D. Lake of Craley and Brock A. Lake of Lower Windsor, sister-in-law, Dori L. McDonald of Windsor and nieces and nephews.
