WINDSOR - Sharon M. (Sherbine) McLane Gentzler, 63, of Lower Windsor Twp., died at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Gary L. Gentzler. A service to celebrate Sharon's life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Gary L. Auker, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Sharon was born January 16, 1945, in Johnstown. She was the daughter of Ardith L. (Black) Sherbine of Tampa, FL and the late Walter Isaiah Sherbine. She was a loving homemaker, devoted to her family and described by her grandchildren as, "the most fun Ma". She was a self taught multi-instrumentalist who enjoyed a wide variety of musical instruments. She loved sunsets and walks on the beach, spending time in her woods and making crafts. She had also been a Realtor with Century 21 Heritage Real Estate. In addition to her husband and mother, Sharon is survived by a son, John McLane and fiancee Zulma Ortiz; a daughter, Lisa Kroeker and husband, Jeffrey; a daughter Sarah Martin; three grandchildren, Amanda Trout and husband, Geoffrey, and April and Brandon Urey; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Trout and Shannon Becker; a sister, Beverly Carnes; three stepsons, Jeffery Kehoe and wife, Penny, Adam Gentzler and wife, Lauren and Ryan Gentzler and wife, Christine; six step grandchildren, Hailey, Jenna and Logan Kehoe and Katelyn, Braydon and Brianna Gentzler; and her beloved dog, Pumpkin. She was preceded in death by a son, Shane Gilbert McLane, in 1963; her former husband, Jack G. McLane; and two brothers, William A. Sherbine and Gary L. Sherbine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd., Suite 194, York, PA 17403 or Olivia's House, 830 South George St., York, PA 17403.
