Sharon K. Schroll

DOVER-Sharon Kay (Harris) Schroll, 76, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Autry L. “Bud” Schroll and Robert C. Lauer. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Salem Union Cemetery in Dover. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Schroll was born in Griffith, IN on January 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Blythe F. and Sophia R. (Laffayette) Harris. She retired from Whitcomb’s where she worked in the bakery and with produce. Mrs. Schroll leaves a son, Rick D. Lauer of Dover and a daughter, Sherry M. Rickell and her husband James of York; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Harris. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.
