Sharon K. Ferree

YORK- Sharon K. (Little) Ferree, 66, of York Township, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was the wife of Curtis L. Ferree. The couple celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on October 3, 2021. Professionally Sharon was a dedicated and respected employee. She retired from Element as a Fleet Account Manager. In retirement she worked in the cafeteria for the Dallastown Area School District and loved helping the children through the lunch line. Personally, Sharon was beloved by many as an active member of the community. Sharon was a long-term member of Christ Lutheran Church of Spry, having past involvement with their choir and volunteering to assist with the Strawberry Festival. She held multiple positions in the Order of the Eastern Star achieving the highest title of Worthy Matron several years ago. She was an avid supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and selfless volunteer. Sharon was born in Harford, MD on December 27, 1955, the daughter of Cora R. (Jenkins) May of Delta and the late Stanley V. Little. Along with her husband Curtis, she leaves two sons, Lance Ferree and his wife Angela of York and Matthew Ferree and his wife Amanda of Dallastown; four grandchildren, Axel, Miles, Liliana, and Anthony; and a brother, Robert Little of Southern York. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda and Donna and a brother, Edward. A visitation will be held on Sat, June 25 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2385 S. Queen St in York from 9:30-11:00 followed by a celebration of life memorial service.
