Sharon A. Walters

POTTSVILLE-Sharon A. Walters, 49, of Duncott, passed away Thursday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown. Born in Pottsville in April 9, 1963, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Long Zimmerman. Sharon was employed by Cargill Meat Solutions, Hazleton. Sharon was of the Protestant faith. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Walters, who passed away January 28, 2000; her brother, Craig Zimmerman. Sharon is survived by her two sons, Joshua L. Zimmerman, of Lebanon, IN and Gary Walters, of Pottsville; her daughter, Amanda Walters, of Cressona; three grandchildren, Sidney, Marley and Thomas Zimmerman; her significant other, Joseph J. See, with whom she resided; her three brothers, Wayne Zimmerman, husband of Maryann, of Middleport, Dennis and Randy Zimmerman, both of Minersville; her three sisters, Gloria Rich and Debra Kramer, both of Pottsville, and Rose Walters; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Monday evening, February 25, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be sent to The American Cancer Society, 16 North Fourth Street, Minersville, PA 17954.
