Scott L. Seitz

DALLASTOWN – Scott L. Seitz, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at his home. He was the son of the late M. Lee and Joyce E. (Spangler) Seitz. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home. The family is also hosting a gathering befitting of Scott, from 1:30-4:30 PM Sunday at the American Legion Post 605, 57 West Main Street, Dallastown. Scott’s Tribute Service will be webcast on his obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com Born February 13, 1957, in York, he was a 1975 graduate of Red Lion Area High School, where he was a proud member of the football team. Mr. Seitz worked at Columbia Products in Dallastown until it’s closing and then Caterpillar Inc. until he retired in 2019. Scott also worked part-time for Central Pizza in Red Lion throughout his career. He loved nothing more than raising his girls and spending time with his family. He could be found eating crabs, watching sports, playing cards with his buddies, or socializing at the American Legion Post 605 in Dallastown with his family and friends. Mr. Seitz is survived by step-daughter Lora J. and husband Jason Rohrbaugh of Red Lion, Sytiva L. Seitz and wife Katherine McDonald of Camp Hill, and Angie L. Seitz of Etters; two granddaughters, Kylie and Jenna Rohrbaugh; two brothers, Jon Seitz of York and Jac Seitz of Wrightsville; three sisters, Jolee Vasquez of Key West, FL, Josie Blevins of Felton, and Joni Horne of Wrightsville; seven nieces and nephews; a great-nephew; and a plethora of grand-animals. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Scott may be made to the American Legion Post 605, 57 West Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313 to benefit their charitable work.
