Sarah M. Bobbitt

YORK - Sarah M. Bobbitt, 39, died Friday, September 7, 2007. She was the companion of Larry Danner, Sr. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Glenn A. Brown officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-5:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Born June 13, 1968 in York, she is the daughter of James G. Bobbitt, Sr. of Red Lion and the late Virginia G. [Derstler] Bobbitt. She worked at Dentsply International and attended Covenant Moravian Church. Sarah was an avid Seattle Seahawks football fan and enjoyed watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Casey Kahne. She also loved to read and was known for her "green thumb." Whenever someone needed to revive a plant they brought it to Sarah so she could work her magic. In addition to her father, Sarah is survived by a son, Larry Jacob Bobbitt Jr. at home; a brother, Kenneth E. and wife Bonnie Bobbitt of Red Lion; two sisters, Penny S. and husband Dave Feltenberger of York and Kelly E. Lau of Dover; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James G. Bobbitt, Jr. and Donald L. Bobbitt.
