Sarah M. (Beachel) Beachel

MILTON - Sarah M. (Beachel) Beachel, 95, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg She was born on September 20, 1916 in Milton and was the daughter of the late Reed and Agnes (Gessner) Beachel. She was married to the late Irvin F. Beachel for over 45 years, until his death in 1982. Sarah was a member of the Milton First Church of the Nazarene. She was a former employee of Jasper, and Montgomery Mills, as well as being a Homemaker. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Robert D. and Arlene Beachel of Mifflinburg, five daughters and four sons-in-law; Joann E. and Jesse E. Baker of New Columbia, Geraldine M. and Paul Kenneth Witmer of Mifflinburg, Donna J. and George S. Bingaman of Mifflinburg, Linda S. Martin of Phoenix, AZ, and Micci C. and John Smith of Kansas City, MO., 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great- grandchildren and one sister; Martha Kahler of Shamokin. In addition to her parents, and husband, Sarah was preceded in death by one son; Irvin Dale Beachel, three brothers; Paul, Sherman, and Floyd Beachel; five sisters; Beulah Eddinger, Naomi Warner, Pauline Joppie, Marie and Esther Beachel. A public viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street Milton, PA. There will also be a viewing from 10 to 11, Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Milton First Church of the Nazarene, 456 King St., Milton, PA 17847 with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Robert E. Morris will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Mazeppa Cemetery, Lewisburg.
