Sarah J. Goliash

Williamsport - Sarah J. (Haines) Goliash, 68, of Charles Street, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Gate House at Divine Providence Hospital. She was born August 10, 1941 in Williamsport a daughter of the late Raymond and Jennie Kinney Haines. Sarah was married on October 26, 1957 to Bernard G. Goliash. She was the owner of Sarah's Goodies and worked in various restaurants as a cook. Sarah was a member of St. Boniface Church. She was an avid bingo player and she enjoyed playing cards and baking. Surviving are her loving husband, two sons George M. (Janenne) Goliash of S. Williamsport, Bernard G. Goliash, Jr., of Montgomery, three daughters Gina (Mike) Miller of Williamsport, Lisa A. Goliash of S. Williamsport and Denise M. Goliash of Williamsport. Six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren One brother Raymond Haines of Williamsport and two sisters Pearl Pavlaski of Florida and Debra Alberts of Williamsport survive her. A brother Howard Haines preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, with Msgr. Stephen D. McGough officiating. There will be a public viewing from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. The family will provide the flowers. Interment will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
