Sarah E. (Scarborough) Walizer

COGAN STATION - Sarah E. (Scarborough) Walizer, 70, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at The Gate House, Williamsport. She was the loving wife of Jerome I. "Jerry" Walizer who survives. Sarah was born on May 24, 1938 in Williamsport and was a daughter of Susan (Graybill) Scarborough of Williamsport and the late Jack Scarborough. She had worked as a sewing machine operator for 45 years. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one son; Joseph P. "Joe" Walizer of Cogan Station and three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Clara and Robert Baker of Nisbet, Jean and Daniel Probst of Trout Run and Janet Cash of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother; Jack Scarborough and one sister; Pearl Fox. In keeping with Sara's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lycoming Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
