Sandra L. (Weikert) Melhorn

Thomasville Sandra L. (Weikert) Melhorn, 63, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at York Hospital. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2007 at the funeral chapel, with Reverend Charles L. Persing officiating. Burial will be in Holy Savior Cemetery. Sandra was born in West Manchester Township on March 15, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edith (McKenrick) Weikert. She served as a packer at Martin's Potato Chips for over 20 years until retirement in 2004. Sandra leaves two children; Christy A. Melhorn of Lancaster and Mark V. Melhorn of Thomasville, a grandson, Malcolm T. Melhorn, a brother, David A. Weikert of Thomasville, and a sister, Doris A. Weikert of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by three brothers; James E., Calvin A. and Richard L. Weikert.
