Sandra L. (Mobley) Uffelman

RED LION- Sandra L. (Mobley) Uffelman, 72, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late James “Mike” E. Uffelman to whom she was married for 51 years prior to his passing in 2013. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born April 4, 1943 in York, Sandra was the daughter of the late George and Geraldine (Meckley) Heininger. She worked for 30 years for what is now General Dynamics until her retirement in 2005. Mrs. Uffelman was a lifelong member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Red Lion, the Eastern Star and the Red Lion Elks Lodge. Mrs. Uffelman is survived by a daughter, Debra Ann Church and her husband Jeff of Wilmington, North Carolina; two grandsons, Conner and Ryan Church of Wilmington, North Carolina; a brother, George Heininger, Jr. of York, and brothers and sisters in law, Fred Uffelman and his wife Lynn of York, and Bill Uffelman and his wife Ruth of Hershey.
