RENOVO - Sandra Alice (Probst) Bomba, 45, of Farwell, passed away on November 10, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, surrounded by her family. Born in Williamsport, PA on August 9, 1968 she was the daughter of Irvin and Theresa Probst. Her mother Theresa preceded her in death on the same exact day in 1995. She is survived by her father and stepmother Elizabeth Probst of Galeton, PA, her loving husband Edward J. Bomba whom she was married to for 22 years, her brother Stuart (Teresa) Probst and nephew Forrest, her sister Marsha (Mike) Davis and nephews Dillon and Barrett, nieces Elizabeth and Rebecca and several other nieces and nephews. She was a special “Aunt Sandy” who will never be forgotten by her nieces and nephews. Sandra was a 1986 graduate of Bucktail Area High School. She was employed as a Supervisor for UGI in Lock Haven for the last 15 years. Sandra fought her second courageous battle since August of this year with a positive upbeat attitude that inspired and amazed all those around her. She enjoyed reading, camping, baking delicious treats and following NASCAR. Her and Ed attended several of the races together. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 11:00 am at the North Bend Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Sandra’s memory to the American Cancer Society, (Clinton Unit) 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 whom Sandra supported for many years. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
