AVON, CO- Samantha Jo Roberts, 25, formerly of York, died on Wednesday April 23, 2014 at Vail Valley Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Reverend Brenda Ritterpush officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on February 18, 1989 in York, she was a daughter of Melvin E. and Debora S. (Staub) Roberts, Jr. Samantha was a 2007 graduate of York Suburban High School. She was currently employed as a server at Vail Ale House. Samantha had a contagious smile and laugh. She was a free spirit who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed attending concerts and singing. Her other passions included cooking, hiking, snowboarding and yoga. Samantha is survived by three sisters, Terri Inners and her companion, Craig, Nicole Roberts and her companion, Ryan and Jamie Roberts and her fiancé, Lenny, all of York; grandparents, Dolores Roberts and Sylvia and Ray White; four nephews; and two nieces.
