Sally L. Wilkinson

WELLSBURG, NY - Sally L. Wilkinson, Age 68 of 12978 Berwick Turnpike, Bentley Creek, PA passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at home. Sally was born August 28, 1942 in Elmira, NY daughter of the later Clifford and Mary (Mason) May. She was a graduate of S.R.U. High School and was married to Llewellyn “Pete” Wilkinson on November 5, 1966 and celebrated 44 years together. Sally was employed by State Farm Insurance as an insurance representative for 28 years. She was member of the Bentley Creek Baptist Church, Women’s Republican Association and a lifetime member of the Ridgebury Fire Department Auxiliary. Sally was Judge of Election and enjoyed visiting Casino’s. She very much enjoyed the time that she spent with her family especially her loving grandchildren. Survivors include her loving husband Pete of Bentley Creek, PA, her daughter Jacqueline M. Prough of Sayre, PA, son and daughter-in-law, Jon & Trisha Wilkinson of Bentley Creek, four grandchildren, Scott Prough, Cortney Prough, Owen Wilkinson and Ella Wilkinson, her sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Chip Hatch of Wellsburg, NY, brothers and sisters-in-law, David & Coann May of Athens, PA, Alvin “Butch” & Phyllis May of TN, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, May 16, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Her funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend James S. Ellis of the Bentley Creek Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Bentley Creek Cemetery.
