S. Richard Kraut

Dallastown – S. Richard Kraut, 85, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Born September 30, 1934 in West York, he was a son of the late Viola and Edward Kraut of York and Grace and Edward Knisley of Red Lion. He was the husband of Dorothy (Spyker) Kraut. He is survived by four children, Kevin Kraut and wife, Judy of Glen Rock, Karen Black of Berlin, MD, Kurt Kraut of Dallastown and Kraig Kraut of Mantua, OH; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He served in the Navy for 8 years and graduated from West York High School in 1852. He worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 23 years until his retirement. During his free time, he enjoyed to golf.
