Ruth V. (Geesey) Stabley

Red Lion- Ruth V. (Geesey) Stabley, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, FL. She was the wife of Kenneth E. Stabley to whom she was married 75 years. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Certified Celebrant Kealey Smartnick officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am prior to the service at 10:00 am. Burial will be held privately in St. John’s Blymire UCC Cemetery in Dallastown. Born March 25, 1925 in Dallastown, Ruth was the daughter of the late Luther Elwood and Rose Ann (Jennings) Geesey. She was a member of President of Yorktowne Cadarettes, a member of Red Lion Eastern Star, Matron of Eastern Star, Grand Officer traveling over the United States and Canada, and a Matron and Patron of Armaranth. She loved her 23 nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Stabley is survived by a brother, Eugene R. Geesey of Hanover; four nieces, (Cindy, Ann, Beth, and Sue), two nephews (Dave and Joe). Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
