Ruth S. (Tyson) Grove

FELTON- Ruth S. (Tyson) Grove, 99, died Sunday, January, 1, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Homer S. Grove. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Bethany Felton United Methodist Church, 49 High Street, in Felton , with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery in Felton. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Grove was born in Windsor Township on July 31, 1912, daughter of the late Daniel and Irene (Miller) Tyson. Mrs. Grove was the oldest living member of Bethany Felton United Methodist Church, where she was formerly a member of both: Loyal Mothers Sunday School Class and Women’s Missionary Society. Mrs. Grove leaves a son, Francis D. Grove and his wife Linda of Brogue; two daughters, Janet Rupp of Red Lion and Joyce S. Wertz and her husband Ronald of Felton; a grandson, Michael Grove and his wife Debbie; a step grandson, David Wertz; four step great grandchildren; and a brother, Palmer Arnold of York. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Felton United Methodist Church, 49 High Street, Felton, PA 17322.
