Ruth S. (Paules) Benedick

DOVER – Ruth S. (Paules) Benedick, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late Martin A. Benedick. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2016 at Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Road, York with her Associate Pastor, The Rev. Pat Mullen officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday at the Church. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the Cemetery entrance at 1:45 PM on Friday. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born April 25, 1932 in York a daughter of the late Lloyd M. and Susan L. (Sollenberger) Paules, Ruth had worked as an administrative assistant with the US Government for 14 years. Ruth, along with her husband, owned and operated The Clock Works for many years. She was a member of Shiloh UCC and enjoyed quilting blankets for family and friends, as well as, teaching upholstery classes. Mrs. Benedick is survived by a son, Michael A. Benedick of York; a brother, William and wife Debbie Paules of Peterborough, NH; and a sister, Mary Rodgers of Shiloh.
