FELTON - Ruth L. (Weitzel) Meyers, 91, of Chanceford Township died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Meyers and was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl J. Emenheiser, and her companion Robert Kohler. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Pastor Dave DeVlaminck will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shenberger Chapel Cemetery in New Bridgeville. Mrs. Meyers was born in Hagerstown, MD on November 23, 1921, the daughter of the late Luther Leroy and Kathrine Irene (Jones) Weitzel. She worked for the former Flinchbaugh’s in Red Lion and also 12 years at Christ Lutheran Church Daycare in Dallastown. Mrs. Meyers was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Felton and New Momentum Christian Church in Washington Township, MI. Mrs. Meyers leaves two sons, Darryl W. Emenheiser and his wife Pat of Shelby Twp., MI, and Darvi A. Emenheiser of York; three daughters, Denise E. Fake and her husband Bill of Red Lion, DeEtta D. Collins and her husband Keith of Felton, and Doretta L. Melone and her husband Tom W. of Red Lion; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren; and two nephews. A brother, Luther Leroy Weitzel, Jr., had preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Momentum Christian Church, c/o Darryl W.
