Wellsburg, New York Ruth L. Hills, Age 95 formerly of East Smithfield, PA passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Sentra Obili Hospital in Suffolk,VA. Family and friends are invited to a 1:00 PM Memorial Service on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Federated Church of East Smithfield with Revered Stan Gill officiating. Ruth will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery East Smithfield, PA. Ruth was born March 25, 1913 in East Smithfield, PA daughter of the late George H. and Eva (Tomkinson) Bennett. She was a graduate of the local school system and was married to the late Manley Hills. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She was a member of the Federated Church of East Smithfield and active in the women's groups there. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gerould and Sasiton Hills of Smithfield, VA. a grandson, Anthony Scott Hills of Fort Walton, FL, great-grandson, Ashton Hills of Fort Walton, FL and several nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Manley, sisters, Margaret VanAmburg, Ina Turk, Nona Jensen, brothers, William Bennett, George Bennett.
