Ruth L. Hartman

YORK - Ruth L. (Minnich) Hartman, 91, of Stony Brook Manor, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at ManorCare Health Services - North. She was the wife of Raymond B. Hartman who died January 2, 1994. A graveside funeral service and burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at Mt. Rose Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Tome, Associate Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. A procession will gather at the cemetery entrance at 9:45 a.m. A memorial service for Mrs. Hartman will also be held at Stony Brook Manor at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hartman was born March 1, 1916, in Emigsville. She was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Jennie (Hilt) Minnich. She had been employed as a weaver at the former Penn Textile in York for many years. Mrs. Hartman leaves a brother, Robert M. Minnich of York; a sister Charlotte Gross of Dover; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Desenberg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
