Ruth L. (Enders) Shive

NEW CUMBERLAND- Ruth L. (Enders) Shive, 102, died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Manor Care Carlisle. She was the wife of the late Cyde D. Shive. The couple had been married for 53 years. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, 780 Woodland Ave., Lewisberry, with Pastor Dan Isley officiating. A viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at church. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St. Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born on March 19, 1915 in Millersburg, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Laura A. (Lebo) Enders. Ruth was an office worker at Kinney Shoes in Shiremanstown for many years. Mrs. Shive was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lewisberry. Ruth was a Christian lady who loved her family and her church. Mrs. Shive is survived by one daughter, Wanda Wells of New Cumberland; two granddaughters, Karen Koneff and husband, Mark of Alton, ME and Kelly Rand and husband, Gary of Saudi Arabia; and two great grandsons, Caleb and Roy Koneff. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sara Riland; and one brother, Roy Enders. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 780 Woodland Ave., Lewisberry, PA 17339.
