Ruth E. Jadro

DOVER- Ruth E. (Fattman) Jadro, 90, died on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas Jadro, who died on February 4, 2007. The couple had been married for 62 years. Services for Mrs. Jadro are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements. Born on October 28, 1924 in Washington, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Phillips) Fattman. Ruth was a homemaker. Mrs. Jadro was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Jadro is survived by three sons, Earl Jadro of Concord, N.C., Gary Jadro of Manchester and Denny Jadro and his wife, Melodie of Dover; two daughters, Linda Watson and her husband, Daniel of W. Manchester Twp. and Janet Shaffer and her companion, Jim Gooch of Dover; nine grandchildren, Brandon Jadro, Derek Jadro, Dylan Jadro, Dustin Jadro, Jeremy Shaffer, Josh Shaffer, Wendy Eckenrode, Angie Brenneman and Melissa Bratton; 16 great grandchildren; and one sister, Alberta Golna of Florence, FL.
