Ruth E. (Hake) Smith

RED LION - Ruth E. (Hake) Smith, 87, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Victorian Villas. She was the wife of the late Dale K. Smith. Funeral services will be private. Born May 10, 1923 in York County, she was a daughter of the late Elmer O. and Anna (Axe) Hake. Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Shirley J. and husband William J. Chronister of Red Lion; two granddaughters, Crystal and husband Mark Allen and Kathy and husband Thomas Kramme; 5 great granddaughters; and a sister, Estella Grimm of Martinsville.
